What data we collect

  • Marketing and waitlist data: if you join our email list or the waitlist for future products, we collect your email address and any preferences you give us, managed through Klaviyo.
  • Analytics and usage data: information about how you use our website, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies").
  • Advertising data: where you consent, we use advertising and measurement tools such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel to understand the performance of our ads and to show relevant ads to you on third-party platforms (see "Cookies").
  • Support data: the contents of any email or message you send us, including warranty and returns correspondence.

Lawful basis for processing

  • Performance of a contract: to take, process, ship, and support your orders.

  • Legal obligation: to keep records required by tax, accounting, and consumer law.

Third parties we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

  • Shopify: our e-commerce platform and checkout, which hosts the store and processes orders.
  • Stripe: our payment processor, which processes your card or payment details directly and securely. We receive only confirmation and limited transaction details, not your full card number.
  • Klaviyo: our email marketing and waitlist platform, which stores subscriber email addresses and sends our emails.
  • Meta Platforms: where you consent to advertising cookies, we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure and target our advertising. Meta may process this data as described in its own privacy policy.
  • Amazon: if you buy through our Amazon listings, your purchase is handled entirely by Amazon under Amazon's own privacy policy. We do not receive your card details, and any customer data we see is limited to what Amazon provides to fulfil and support orders.
  • Shipping and analytics providers: carriers needed to deliver your order, and analytics tools used to measure site performance.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK (for example, in the US). Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or equivalent approved mechanisms.

Data retention

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our legal and tax obligations (typically at least six years for tax records). Marketing and waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and advertising data is retained for a limited period in line with our providers' settings.
